Have No Lumps But Pain In The Chest Muscle Tissue Is It Breast Cancer

i have no lumps no nipple changes no skin clor change dimpling or scaling of nipple but have pain in the chest muscle tissue as i am 50 years old and post menopause since 2 years had undergone mammogram thrice for the same symptom but reports r normal shud i again go for a mammogram r just go to gynocologist for breast physical exam i have no family history as i am overweight by abt 8 kgs for my height.

Hi -; If you've had three normal mammograms, trying to diagnose the same symptom -; chest muscle pain -; then perhaps you should see another type of doctor. If the pain truly is in your chest muscles, not your breast, you might want to speak to your general practitioner and see what he/she thinks about what to try next. If it's breast pain, ask to be referred to a breast specialist. Obviously this pain is bothering you, and it would be good to get it diagnosed and get some treatment. But with three clear mammograms, it's (thankfully) probably not breast cancer. Good luck - PJH
