Is It Normal For Tremors To Just Appear And Then Disappear With No Notice?

Hello MS Central. I am new to you all. I was just DX about a month ago. I am experiencing tremors in one side of my body from time to time. With no notice I will just start to shake and then after a while it goes away. It just seems like you should feel a warning come on but apparently not.

Answer

Hi AC. Welcome to MS Health Central. Some symptoms do come and go with little or no warning. Tremors are included. My tremors are usually in my legs or arms, and they last for a short time. Closing my eyes and taking a deep breath seems to help, but that could be a coincidence. There is no warning when they start or stop. I have a friend whose temors last longer, and she has no warning either. You might want to talk with your doctor. My friend seems to think there is medication to reduce tremors. Good luck, and let us know.
