Numbness In Tongue & Throat

I sometimes have a numb, tingly feeling in my tongue and throat. I have difficulty swallowing when this occures. Does anyone have an answer? Also, part of my face feels kind of numb and cold. I, too, have alot of headaches. Oh, by the way, I'm only 31 yrs old.

Answer

Hi Jessie,

Numbness and tingling can be related to MS, as can difficulty swallowing. However, they can also be related to other things. You should talk to your doctor about this. In preparation, take notes of your symptoms and try to explain what happens beforehand and afterwards. Only a doctor can help figure out exactly what is going on.
