Can I Get Pain Medication With Out Acetaminophen
What pain medications do not contain acetaminophen? Does anyone know?
Answer
There are many medications to treat pain that don't contain acetaminophen. Many of the opioid (narcotics) don't, and then there is the class of pain meds known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that include such medications as ibuprofen.
Obviously, all of these medications have different uses, and your doctor will be able to help you determine which one is best for you. If you're dealing with pain and can't see a doctor right away, a pharmacist at your local drugstore will probably be happy to help you determine which OTC medication may suit you best.
