Can Prednisone Effect Blood Pressure

Can prednisone affect your blood pressure?

Answer

I'm not a doctor and can't diagnose you over the internet, but I'm pretty sure it can. I get steroid shots every now and again, and my blood pressure becomes a little unruly for about a week after. If you have high blood pressure, it's important to discuss this with your doctor when talking about prednisone; you may need to increase your blood pressure medication.
