Is Repeating Phrases A Symptom Of Alzheimer’s Disease?
My elderly parents live with us. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s Disease and I am afraid my SM does also. Lately, she has been using the same two phrases over and over again whether they are in context of the conversation or not? Is this a sign of Alzeheimers?er two phrases are: “That’s logical,” and “That has merit”. BTW, these are not phrases she would have normally used in her younger years. I am having trouble communicating w/her lately. She doesn’t seem to get the gist of the conversation.
I agree with what the others have said. I also wanted to share a recent post that I wrote about other causes for cognitive changes.
Take care and keep us posted!
