Severe Jaw And Cheek Bone Pain When Exposed To Cold Wind…
I have severe pain in my jaws and cheekbones when I am exposed to cold wind or even damp cool wind. I’ve been told it may be TMJ. Has anyone else heard of these symptoms?
Hi there, missmiss -
I know this is a very old question, but I did want to give you an answer from someone here on our staff – I’m not a healthcare professional, but just looking at your symptoms, you may in fact have TMJ or, as one of the community members who’s responded said, trigeminal neuralgia (though that is a very rare condition). You have probably found the answer to the problem by now already, though! If so, perhaps you’d consider coming back and telling us what the diagnosis and treatment were for your symptoms? It might be really helpful to someone else in the community.
Here are some links that might be helpful in any case. Be well!
