Severe Pain Between My 4th And 5th Toes. There Is An Unexplained Whiite-ish And Very Tender Lump There.

Answer

This sounds like it could be a bone spur or corn. Bone spurs often occur between the 4th and 5th toes and you can often find a hardened white area there (the corn). Diagnosing this will take an x-ray but if this is a toe bone spur treatment is pretty simple; a 15 minute operation in which the spur is removed. You should be able to walk immediately.

Be sure to check out your footware and make sure you're wearing shoes that are wide enough and have plenty of support. Most foot problems are due to ill-fitting, inadequate footware.

The quickest way to find out what this is to see a podiatrist. Good luck!
