I Have Sharp Pain In My Breast When I Move Around Or Breathe Deaply. What Could This Be?
It has been hurting for 4 days, it started suddenly and I thought it would go away, but it hasn't. It's not a pain all over the breast, it seems to be in the same place all the time.
Answer
Hi Melanie - Could be a number of things: a nerve issue, a hormonal thing, perhaps a muscle pull.... There's just no telling. Ordinarily, breast cancer doesn't present itself as suddenly painful. It's usually a lump that doesn't hurt. If your breast continues to give you pain, best to make a doctor's appointment to see what's up; after all, no sense worrying and being uncomfortable when there's something you can do about it, right? Good luck- PJH
