I Have A Very Small Pebble Above My Left Breast. Could You Tell Me What It Is?

Answer

Gail, I can't tell you what it is; only your doctor has the necessary tools to do that. If this has appeared recently; and if it lasts longer than a month, without disappearing/reappearing, then it qualifies as a breast change. All breast changes should be examined by a doctor, and treated if necessary.

I can tell you that the vast majority of breast lumps have nothing to do with cancer. Please read our breast lump FAQS for lots of good information. And remember - if this lump lasts longer than a month, call your doctor, OK? Good luck - PJH
