I have a sore spot in a confined area on the side of my right breast. Could that be a sign of cancer?

Answer

Kay, unless you feel a lump; or unless your breast becomes red/swollen, itchy, or seems infected, it's probably not a symptom of breast cancer. Does the pain come and go with your monthly cycle? If so, it could be hormonal. But if it bothers you, why not go to the doctor and have it checked out? That way you could stop worrying. Good luck - PJH
