Do Stop Smoking Make You Tired And Sleepy

does stop smoking make you tired and sleepy

Answer

renay,

Thanks for your question.

This is true for two reasons. First of all, nicotine is a stimulant and without it, you may feel tired and sleepy. Also, during withdrawal from nicotine, many people have trouble sleeping, which makes your feel more tired and sleepy during the day. But hang in there for the next couple of weeks, because these symptoms will clear. One suggestion is to start an exercise program which will stimulate your system and senses, and help you sleep better at night, while giving you some short term goals to work for in your workouts.

Congratulations on your efforts to quitting this nasty and unhealthy habit/addiction.

Best wishes.
