migraine symptomsMigraine is a complex disease with myriad possible symptoms, including osmophobia. Osmophobia can be an especially frustrating symptom when it occurs at the same time as nausea because it can worsen the nausea. Unlike nausea, however, there are no symptomatic treatments for osmophobia. It does subside, along with other migraine symptoms, when an abortive medication is used and is effective.
