Can I Take Tramadol And Fioricet Together ???

According to the Drug Interaction Checker, anyone taking these two medications together should be monitored as they could cause central nervous system depression and/or respiratory depression.

If your doctor did not prescribe them to be taken together, I would not recommend doing so without asking him/her first. If they were prescribed to be taken together, it would still be a good idea to make sure someone is with you when you take them to be sure you're ok and to call your doctor if necessary.

The Drug Interaction Checker recommends the following: During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities.
