Is Trazodone A Narcotic. I Am Taking It With Abilify. Is That A Good Combination

I began some therapy and taking Abilify and Trazodone after I had a horrible anxiety attack. I was so angry with my daughter I couldn't calm down. The therapist calmed me down and gave me the drugs above. Am I foolish to want her to send back to me my grandmother's gold watch? I gave it to her last Christmas. I don't want her to have it and not be speaking to me. I am not giving her any of my other jewelry; it will go to my other 2 children or grandchildren.

Answer

Thank you for your question and welcome to AnxietyConnection.com.

Trazodone is a tetracyclic antidepressant and can have sedative effects as well. As far as whether these medictions work together, I am not a medical professional and would not be able to answer this. Your doctor or pharmacist would be better able to answer this question.

As far as whether your daughter should return the watch, that would be between you and your daughter. I understand there is sentiment attached to the watch, however, it was a gift. Is it possible you and your daughter will begin talking again in the future?
