Is It True That A 30mg Roxicet Is Equivalent To Six 5/325mg Percocet?

is it true that a 30mg roxicet is equivalent to six 5/325mg percocets? or that they are entirely different pain meds.

Answer

Not exactly. First of all I don't believe Roxicet comes in 30 mg tablets. Are you sure you don't mean Roxicodone? Roxicodone is just a brand name for oxycodone. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone and acetaminophen. Percocet 5/325 is 5 mg oxycodone and 325 mg acetaminophen. Although a Roxicodone 30 mg tablet would have the same amount of oxycodone in it as six Percocet 5/325s, taking six Percocets would give you way more acetaminophen than is safe.

I hope that helped and I didn't confuse you.
