Tsh Diet And Exercise

I am 26 . My haemoglobin is 8.1. My TSH level is 5.25. I am worried about my pregnancy. Can i get pregnant? Is it curable. Give me a diet and exercise chart.

Answer

Normal hemoglobin in 12-16 for females so a low hemoglobin can indicate anemia and you need a doctor prescribed diet and iron vitamins. Foods high in iron include - red meats (only eat very lean cuts), spinach, oysters, tuna, salmon, shrimp, beans, iron fortified whole grains, kale, collard greens, swiss chard, parsley. Your TSH being a bit high may indicate that you are hypothyroid (underactive) which is not uncommon in women and simply requires syntheroid replacement (after the doctor investigates 'why" you are hypothyroid). See a doctor and get treated for both.
