When Trent Hopkins was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 12, he was devastated. He couldn’t believe that he might have to live with the disease for the rest of his life.
Now 25, Trent, a youth pastor who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, is dealing with a worsening of his psoriasis, but, strengthened by his faith, he’s learned to keep moving forward and focus on things more important than the condition of his skin. He and his wife, Emily, talked about his struggles in the past and how they’ve changed his attitude about the present.
