Turning Point: A Yoga Instructor Learns to Love Herself
In her early 20s, Anne Falkowski was diagnosed with psoriasis. The disease covered most of her body, exacerbating negative feelings she had long had about her appearance.
As she looked inward during a yoga class, Anne was struck by how hard she was on herself. And she realized that that was keeping her from being the kind of friend, wife or mother she wanted to be.
Anne has since become a yoga instructor and opened her own studio in Manchester, CT. She recently spoke with her friend Jude Kochman, who is also a yoga instructor, about how yoga has helped her finally accept her condition and have positive feelings about herself and the future.
