Breast cancer runs in my family

Answer

Hi Summer: First of all, at age 15 your chance of being diagnosed with breast cancer is about 2 in a million - so very, VERY unlikely. Also, a red dot on your breast isn't a breast cancer symptom. And, unless your mom or your sister was diagnosed with breast cancer before age 50, your chance of having it isn't raised appreciably. So I'd simply keep your eye on this red dot, and see what develops. If it seems infected, or grows larger, then you'd want to see a doctor to find out what's up. Good luck - PJH
