What Causes Bleeding From The Penis?

While I was performing oral sex on my husband, he started to bleed a small amount of blood from his penis. I thought it was caused by me doing it too hard, but he says he's been having a small burning sensation while urinating for about a month now. What can be causing this?

There are a number of possibilities.   The two most common causes of these symptoms in men are a urinary tract infection or prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate gland).   The symptoms shouldn't be ignored, as they are unlikely to get better on their own - and they could get much worse.   Your husband should see his doctor soon.
