What Can I Do About Dull Back Pain Between My Shoulder Blades?
What causes pain in the upper back between the shoulder blades? The kind I have is a dull and persistent pain. Any help would be appreciated.
Answer
Pain between the shoulder blades can feel like a knife in the back. And this type of pain is soooo common in women, especially large breasted women. Weakness in the muscles around the shoulder can lead to the pain of fatigued, strained, achy muscles. Stiffness in the upper thoracic spine causes a painful, stuck feeling. And sometimes a cervical spine disc herniation can refer a knife-like pain between the shoulder blades. Find a good physical medicine doctor to help you find some solutions.
