What Is Prognosis Of Infiltrating Ductal Carcinaoma Stage T2, N1, M0

31 year old female , started with pus like discharge 2weeks back. Diagnosed as abscess and treated with antibiotics. Symptoms partly subsided on second visit to doctor, but lump 223 pesisted. FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology )showed atypical cells.US showed a single axillary lymph node and probable adherece of tumour to Pectoral muscle.

Hi - This is a fairly typical diagnosis of breast cancer. Please read our FAQS for this type of cancer. Statistically speaking - and this is ONLY statistics, everyone is different - the 5-year survival rate for American women with this diagnosis is about 84%, so greater than 8 of 10 women are still alive 5 years after diagnosis.
