Madham40- Bolusing is a term used by diabetic’s who use an insulin pump. A bolus dose is insulin that is pumped
to cover food eaten or to correct a high blood glucose level; it’s usually taken before meals or snacks. A basal dose is what is pumped continuously 24/7 in small increments and can be adjusted. If you have any more questions let me know.
