Where Is The T6 Located On The Vertebrae?

I was recently told after having a chest x-ray at the hospital recently that I have thoriac compression at the T6 location whatever that is. Could you explain this to me, and what does it mean?

Hi Susan, welcome to the community. Your thoracic spine is between your lower back and neck. The 6th thoracic is close to the bottom of your shoulder blades. Here's a picture of it from Wikipedia. The x-ray results mean you have a compression fracture. To read more about compression fractures here's an article I wrote on that.

Good luck, do you have plans to treat this fracture?
