Answer
Hi Readurmind,
I just want to add one piece of info to the helpful answers you’ve received. In the first hot flash study of its kind, done at the U of Minnesota in 1975, one discovery was that most women have their own pattern of hot flashes. In other words, some only flash at night, some only in the day and/or in certain periods of the day. Others seem to flash 24/7. Identifying triggers is important and good sleep habits help, but it may take hormones to get you a good night’s sleep.
Good luck to you,
