Why Is My Period Irregular?

Every month my period changes its start date. Why does this happen? Is there anything I can do about it?

It is not that unusual for women to have a variance in how many days there are between periods.   Are we talking a few days difference or a wide range?   If your periods are very irregular there may be something going on such as ovarian cysts, hormonal fluctuations or...if you are older...perimenopause.

I would check with your doctor on this.   Sometimes birth control pills can help to regulate your menstrual cycle. Mostly you just want to be sure it's not being caused by an underlying condition. Otherwise, this might just be your cycle!
