A number of things can cause a drug test to show a false positive. One of the most notorious things that can show up as morphine on a drug test is poppy seeds. Try to remember if you ate anything with poppy seeds a day or two before the test. According to one article I read, quite a few opioids can cause a drug test to show morphine, even if you're not actually taking morphine. I don't know what the laws in your state are but most places allow you to request a retest of the first sample and/or a second test if you feel the first one was inaccurate. It would probably also be a good idea to consult an employment attorney to find out exactly what your rights are.
