Should I Be Worried About A Mole On My Breast?

I am 15 years of age, and had a mole on my breast from when i was a baby, my doctor told me it would grow as i grew which was fine until it began to change colour, i saw the doctor who referred me to a specialist. About a year and a half ago this was removed as 'precaution' but another mole has randomly appeared on the same breast and im slightly worried. should i go have it checked out to be on the safe side?

Emilie-Louise, show this mole to your mother or the adult who took you to the doctor for the first one. She can help you decide if you need to see the doctor right away or if it can wait until your next regular check-up. As I'm sure the doctor explained with your first mole, most of the time moles are not dangerous. If they change color, have an irregular edge, or have mixed colors, it's a good idea to let the doctor take a look. Moles on the breast would not be breast cancer, but they can be skin cancer. Skin cancers tend to be in the parts of the body that receive sun damage or ultra-violet radiation from tanning beds. You don't need to worry about this. Just be alert to changes.
