Wrist Pain Hurts To Touch Skin In The Area Under Thumb Back Side Pushing Down Shoots Pain Up My Arm

My wrist hurts when I touch it. In the area under my thumb (back side) pain shoots up my arm.
This started 2weeks ago stretching my arm out shoots pain like electricity up my arm and a throbbing pain in the area. About a half dollar size on the under side of my wrist under the thumb feels numb to the touch.
