I Am 52 Year Old Male And My Pulse Rate Is 92 Per Minute And I Have A Pounding Headache.
The headache ponds even more every time I change position.
An adult's normal resting pulse range can be anywhere from 60-100 beats per minute. Now, if you know you normally do not run in the 90's when at rest, this may be a little high for you. Increased pulse can be caused by several different things, i.e. stress, pain, heart disease, dehydration, etc...
I recommend you to be evaluated by a physician to help determine the cause of the headache. Dehydration has been a very common thing seen in the emergency department with the summer heat this year-just and FYI.
