John Carosso, Psy.D., has more than 35 years of experience as a licensed child clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist working in private, inpatient, outpatient, residential, school, and home settings. He is the clinical director of Community Psychiatric Centers, a licensed outpatient behavioral health clinic, and operates both the Autism Center of Pittsburgh and the Dyslexia Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Monroeville, PA.

Carosso is certified in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for use in the special education population and has conducted more than tens of thousands of evaluations on children with autism, attention-deficit disorder, trauma, depression, bipolar, anxiety, behavioral issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder, reading and learning problems, and related difficulties. He has supervised dozens of clinical treatment teams and regularly provides consultation to organizations, agencies, and parents. He also has presented at regional conferences, served on the advisory boards of local autism societies, and serves as an expert witness in child welfare cases in Allegheny, Washington, Indiana, and Westmoreland counties.
