With DME, there are some treatments now that can work for two or three years, and these are some of the steroids which have some side effects that we have to pay attention to. The prospect of giving a patient one injection that can last for a couple of years, is very exciting. On the anti-VEGF side, the newer drugs will have a longer treatment interval. Some of them may sort of degrade in the eye over many, many months and not just one month. Some may be surgically implantable as well.
