Can Vision Loss from Diabetic Macular Edema Be Reversed?

It's important to know that in DME, vision loss can oftentimes be reversed, and almost two thirds of patients will have good visual recovery by treating their DME. In DME, the most common reason for their vision loss is that their retina is simply swollen. We're actually really good at getting the swelling out of the retina.
